The United Republic of Tanzania participated in the discussion on United Nations Management Reform under the UN80 Initiative, which considered the Report of the United Nations Secretary-General on the ongoing reform process.
In a statement delivered by Tanzania's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Togolani Mavura, Tanzania reaffirmed its support for a more effective, accountable, inclusive, and development-oriented United Nations system, capable of responding to today’s global challenges while upholding the principles of multilateralism, sovereign equality, and the UN Charter.
